Spending her youth working in a greenhouse, and growing up in a family band covering mostly RUSH and Journey songs; Kat feels most at home outside or onstage.

In a pre-covid world you could catch Kat Chabot performing all over Ontario Farmer’s Markets, local festivals, and bars and restaurants in the Barrie area; either performing solo, or with Cardinal Street – a five-piece rock band. Now you can find her playing virtually on the Barrie’s Live Music Show on Facebook every week.

For Kat, the “best feeling in the world” is bringing people together through music, and leaving all troubles behind for a couple hours while strumming the guitar and whistling to some tunes.
