Shawn has grown up playing music from a young age growing up with a Jazz Bassist (Father Stuart Steinhart) and Mother a grant winning songwriter. Shawn began studying more intensely in his teenage years gathering influences from all genres. Growing up in a studio environment (Lydian Sound Inc.) which he spent many years learning from other artists and about music he has dedicated and lived his life channeling music into all aspects his life.

Studying theory with his father continuously and vocals from various teachers of all genres, from Classical to Rock (from I Mother Earth’s vocalist Brian Bryne) he continues his study ongoing. All the while performing professionally in a career spanning over almost two decades.

Playing coffee houses, to restaurants, to pubs cross Provincial and international, to weddings and corporate functions, live shows are a forte in which Shawn brings a live energy from current Top 40 tunes mixed in with classic rock/Motown etc. spanning all genres to appeal to all any any audience.

On the side, teaching beginner to intermediate guitar lessons as well as assisting venues in need of help with bookings for live artists. Artists like himself, to help club owners or anyone looking for help to aid the process by using the vast network he has built in his career or musicians along the way.
