Food is good. Loved the fries. Had the wholly cow (foreground of pic). It lacked a bbq sauce but was otherwise good. Requested the spicy bbq sauce. It tastes like ketchup with a kick. Also tasted the burger with pulled pork. It was fine. If you’re concerned about germs on the table, eat here. They bring your cutlery and napkin on a metal side plate. Wish we’d waited to eat at home. It doesn’t compare to Jimmy B’s food truck on Hwy 11 just north of Barrie. More flavour and 1/2 the price. Overall, this place is fine. Food is prepared well and the server was very good.

First time visiting and the food was incredible. Not usually a Gravy person, but you had me at "brisket"! The chicken was so moist and the overall flavor of the sandwich was 10/10. The sourdough bread was phenomenal!!! Service was great, place was hopping, our server was busy but attentive and we were well taken care of. Owner checked in with us on the way out. Highly recommend this spot can't wait to come back and try more off the menu.

If you like meat this is the place! Delicious options for slow cooked smoked meat. We had the brisket and ribs. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Well seasoned with tasty sauce and not too salty. Very good fries and the staff and service was excellent. Would return!

I wish we were locals so we could come here more often! This was our first visit and the food was AMAZING, one of the best briskets we have had. Our server April was so lovely and personable. We appreciated her recommendations with the menu (especially the bourbon ice cream). Thank you April and team for a great dinner! The photo I took also does not do this food justice it tastes even better than it looks!

The food is 5 star Smoked BBQ. Not too smoky though my wife that is not particularly find of smoke loved it. The staff is great, with suggestions and recommendations. We had the Chef's Tasting Platter with Ribs, Brisket, Wings, Bacon, Pulled Pork, awesome fries and sweet potato fries. A large meal for two with some take home leftover. Fantastic food.

Had the Beef Brisket with a side of sweet potato fries. They were excellent. Fries were a bit crispy for my taste. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly and fast service, easy parking.

Food was good overall. The burgers were not dry and everything tasted moist and juicy. Biggest fear is eating a dry pork burger. The French onion brisket feature was good and loaded with onions and cheese. The portion was perfect and not too much and perfect for me and to share with others. The slice, BTW I didn't expect the brisket on a slice of bread, thought it would be a burger, it was on the slightly salty side but at times couldn't taste it. The soup side was not salty at all and very delicious. The pulled pork burger was juicy and dripping with sauce. Slightly salty, perfect portion. The service was good, waitress very attentive, washrooms were clean and lots of room to eat. The one thing I noticed no greens. Overall pretty good. I would try different things next time though. Definitely be back for more smoked meat.

Was looking for a place to eat that was accessible for a friend with multiple food sensitivities during yeticon and ended up at thesmoke and was not disappointed!!! We came here all three days of being here for dinner and they were So sweet and welcoming and attentive to the food sensitivities!! My friend felt safe eating without fear of suffering after and the food was incredible!! The meat was soft and flavourful and delicious every single bite!!! I can't recommend it enough! I brought a group of 10 friends the second day and everyone was so full and happy after their meals, it was amazing!! Huge shoutout to our amazing servers and the truly incredible chefs and owner for making such a wonderful and accessible food space for so many people!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜

We visited this location while on vacation because of the great reviews. We were not disappointed. We had the Sampler dinner and choose the brisket, wings and ribs with the original BBQ sauce and it was more then enough for 2 adults. On the way out we ran into the owner (very friendly) and he asked us how things were...EXCELLENT! We will be back to dine and will highly recommend this restaurant to our friends. A group of us ended up here because the other resto said it would be at least 45 mins before we could get seating. This was literally across the street. The atmosphere doesn't come off like it would be a hardcore smoke house, not that that's a bad thing, but it's still very nice inside and very welcoming. Our server, I'm going to lean towards, didn't like us very much. She took a while to come take our drink order. She actually took drink and food orders from a table that came close to ten minutes after us. When everything was ordered and served, she came by literally 15 seconds after dropping off the dishes asking how everything was and then that was it. She didn't come by again until we were ready to go. The food was delish. Everything was cooked very well and everything had a lot of flavour. Recommended if you're seeking a good BBQ taste.
